The Bazaar Project | Born to Fashion
Yeliz Titiz was born to fashion.
Her family owned a flourishing retail-based business in Turkey and with that instilled Yeliz went on to broadened her sense of fashion & design along with an entrepreneurial spirit that brought about The Bazaar Project.
Much of Yeliz’ life has been spent in destinations such as Shanghai, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Seoul, France, Italy, Denmark and Sweden immersed in the individuality of their cultures. That passion for beautiful design trends and the appreciation of unique home accessories and jewelry is the inspiration for The Bazaar Project first store in Miami, Florida.
With a degree in Fashion Merchandising from Marymount University, Titiz entered the fashion industry as the Sourcing Director of Perry Ellis International, a leading designer, distributor and licensor of 45-plus nationally and internationally recognized brands. During her tenure at Perry Ellis, Titiz traveled to many exotic cities where she would receive countless compliments on the accessories she wore and her bold sense of style thus inspiring her next career venture, her own jewelry line. Sura Jewelry, the creative vision of Yeliz Titiz, launched in 2010 borrowing its name from a village in the Mediterranean called Sura, once part of the Byzantine Empire, from which its jewelry is inspired . The line boasts large colorful semi-precious stones complemented by touches of gold and silver.
After four successful years of establishing the Sura Jewelry brand, Titiz decided to build a home where her designs and other products could be showcased, The Bazaar Project. The carefully curated realm of wonders encompasses an eclectic selection of home designs, accessories and gift items including Alexandre MS Decorative Pillows, Assouline Luxury Books, and Koziel Wall Paper.
The Bazaar Project is a unique retail and soon-to-be online environment, providing shoppers with the ability to explore Titiz’s innate sense of style and global travel experiences through each one of the carefully curated pieces such as Sebastian Cruz Couture Pocket Square, Seletti Italy, Shiraleah Clutch Bags, Shiraleah Home, Square Foot Kilims and Dhurries, Sura Jewelry, Vintage Kilims and Wicked Candles all exclusively available at the boutique.
